I went to France

with a pocket full of pounds

I went in a shop

the shop keeper frowned

I gave him my money

he looked in despair

so I gave him some more

he fell back in his chair

"is there a problem

he said

"give me Euros"

"Euros"

I said

"take these instead"

he looked at my coins

as if they were dirt

I grabbed them back

I felt so hurt

as I went to leave

he shook his head

"when you come back my friend"
